Comment Policy

I use Disqus to host comment sections on my blog posts. Here's what you can and can't do on there:

• You CAN have respectful discussions on just about anything.
• You CAN share some love to your fellow cool kids.
• You CAN link to stuff you find cool
• You canNOT have a heated argument with other commenters.
• You canNOT harass other commenters.
• You canNOT post links to social media sites (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) or retail sites (Amazon, eBay, etc EXCLUDING small, independent online shops)
• If you post any content promoting any hateful or regressive ideologies, get the fuck out.
• Finally, I reserve the right to delete any comment or ban anyone from posting comments for any reason. I shouldn't have to invoke this rule, but it's here just in case.

So yee. If you follow these rules, the comments will be a peaceful place where our community can blossom. Thank you for keeping the comments a safe space!

Another note: you are required to make a Disqus account in order to comment. This is so I can moderate the comments easier, but also so I can create a social space where we remember your name! I honestly might replace Disqus with something else one day in order to make it more localized to this specific blog, but just plopping Disqus in is easier for now.
